The Astra Biotech GmbH is your specialist in the field of In Vitro Diagnostics. Established in 2009, the company has continually expanded its portfolio of products. Today we are pleased to offer a wide range of high-quality reagents and diagnostic kits to laboratories and as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to our partners from biomedical industry.

Optimising patient healthcare

Main motive force of our personnel is to contribute to optimising patient healthcare. By developing innovative assays, like our tests for inherited diseases or sensitivity to specific drugs, we improve diagnostic possibilities and create the basis for an individual patient tailored therapy as a part of a personalized medicine. Our standard in this mission is to offer laboratories, hospitals and diagnostic centres IVD compliant assays of excellent quality.

Since 2011 Astra Biotech is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13485. Quality is one of the key cornerstones on which Astra Biotech maintains its reputation and with which we strive to increase customer satisfaction. The growing customer loyalty is our acknowledgement. We take great pride in our highest quality assays, which are all IVD compliant and therefore suitable for direct, accurate and reproducible diagnostic purposes.

Our Products

Astra Biotech’s diagnostic portfolio contains a broad selection of assays and reagents for detection of human hormones, allergens, tumor markers, infections, and genetic disorders. In Vitro Diagnostics of Astra Biotech are based on ELISA, qPCR or microarray techniques ensuring highest sensitivity and specificity for the respective application. All assays are CE-marked and are subjected to strict quality control for safety and well-being of users and patients.
