REF 24-07
ELISA kit for the quantitative determination of autoantibodies against thyroglobulin (TG) in human serum.
Autoantibodies against thyroglobulin (Anti-TG) are mainly IgG and, less frequently, IgA and IgM. Anti-TG concentration in serum of healthy people may reach 65 U/ml. Level exceeding this threshold is a symptom of the autoimmune disorder that usually leads to the thyroid gland dysfunction. Serum anti-TG assay is useful in the diagnostics of autoimmune thyroid diseases (Hashimoto thyroiditis, idiopathyc myxoedema, Graves disease).
