REF 24-01
ELISA kit ("sandwich" type) for the quantitative determination of thyroid stimulating hormone in human serum.
Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) is a glycoprotein with molecular weight ca. 30 000 Da, consisting of two subunits, i.e. alpha and beta. TSH is secreted by frontal lobe of pituitary gland and stimulates synthesis of thyroxin and triiodothyronine in thyroid gland. TSH assay is important in thyroid status evaluation.
